Who we are

Jill Kelby PT, CEA

President

 

Ms. Jill Kelby has over 17 years of experience in ergonomics and injury prevention.  She is president of Ergo-PATH System, LLC in Eden Prairie, MN.  Ergo-PATH System provides the education and tools to effectively and functionally build a strong foundation for integrating safe patient handling (SPH) protocols and techniques into the daily operations of healthcare facilities nationwide.

Her most recent experience has been with the second largest healthcare system in Minnesota in which she worked as their ergonomic/injury prevention consultant primarily focusing on safe patient handling and injury prevention efforts throughout the healthcare system. 

She has an extensive background in ergonomic consulting and industrial physical therapy from her work with other healthcare facilities and various business and industries.

She has been involved in establishing and sustaining safe patient handling programs; injury prevention efforts in healthcare, industries and office environments and ergonomics design consultant for new construction and remodeling projects. 

She is knowledgeable in ADA and has teamed with insurance lose control specialists and company case managers on employee injury case management. She is certified in two functional capacity evaluation methods. Other experience includes onsite physical therapy services, job site analysis, ergonomics education, job position physical demands analysis and ergonomic risk assessments.

Ms. Kelby was a presenter at the 2009 Safe Patient Handling and Movement Conference and 2010 Applied Ergonomics Conference

Ms. Kelby graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She has completed several advanced education courses in ergonomics and is certified by the Board of Certified Professional Ergonomists.  She holds a Green Belt in Six Sigma.

She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and the Board of Professional Certified Ergonomists.
 


Sam Bradbury MAOM, ATC, ACSM, CPE

Vice President

 

Mr. Bradbury has over nineteen years experience in injury prevention and management with the last nine years spent providing onsite rehab service programs, job site analysis, ergonomics education, and ergonomic risk assessments. He has completed numerous advanced education courses in ergonomics and is certified by the Board of Certified Professional Ergonomists.

Sam graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Masters of Organizational Management and from the University of New Mexico with a Education degree with a specialty in Athletic Training, the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of sports related injuries.

Mr. Bradbury is the co-developer of the WorkHab Functional Capacity Evaluation System as well as the Hand Upper Limb Assessment; he has developed and offers an exam prep course for healthcare and safety personnel wanting to take the Certified Ergonomics Associate exam. He has produced a number of corporate educational media productions for management and employees and currently offers companies web based ergonomics education programs through Ergo-Online, LLC.

He is a peer-reviewed author published in the American Journal of Physical Therapy and has a published chapter in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons textbook publication, Athletic Training and Sports Medicine 4th edition, 2005. He also has numerous other publications in the field.

Mr. Bradbury has specific education and certification in a cognitive technology designed to improve concentration and reduce impulsiveness which is used for corporate as well as medical clients.

He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, the Board of Certified Professional Ergonomists as well as the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
